Villere's Florist

I found out about a funeral at the last minute of a close friend of the family. I stopped there with the idea that I wasn't going to be able to get an arrangement delivered the following day to the viewing which I also wasn't going to be able to attend because I had to leave to go out of town. I explained the situation and (I'm horrible with names), but the guy working didn't even have the slightest concern on his face and walked me through a ton of different options to choose from. He even worked with me to get a custom card printed in Korean, which was definitely above and beyond. The cost of everything was way cheaper than I expected and that included the delivery which was less than 24 hours away. I've been going there to get roses for my wife throughout the years, but this confirms what I've already felt, they are the best in the business. I can't recommend them enough.

I have used this florist since 1987 and was always pleased. Yesterday we lost a loved one. Today I called at noon to arrange for flowers. After making 3 selections to "place an order" I was informed by a recording that I could receive a call back. I didn't. At 5:30 I realized the order had not been placed for which I needed for TOMORROW. I called again, made the "place order" selection and actually got a person this time. They didn't speak very good English. The store was still open and I got an answering service. I had to place the order through FTD. I will be looking for a new local florist for all of my needs from this point forward. Such a shame when an established business goes downhill.

Let me start by saying I hardly ever write reviews. Amazing florists, staff, and exceptional customer service! It was my mother’s 60th birthday and I wanted to get her a beautiful arrangement with her favorite flower, birds of paradise. Villere’s went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure I had a great experience and something my mom would love. I went in to purchase an arrangement I seen on their website and when some of the filler flowers weren’t in full bloom, it became a group effort by the staff to find something else that was still vibrant and beautiful. They even allowed me to hand pick the exact flowers that would go in the arrangement, giving me a plethora of options to choose from without going over my budget. When I explained that I needed it same day because I wanted to surprise my mother at work the florist took a break from the huge Mardi Gras assignment she was working on to make sure I’d have mine in just 30mins!! You don’t find that kind of customer service these days. I wish I’d gotten their names because I am truly grateful for how kind and helpful they were throughout the entire process. Long story short, my mother absolutely loved the arrangement, so much so that she cried. And if you knew my mother, or Aquarius women in general 🤭, they are not emotional people. Lol thank you again Villere’s! I’ve already recommended you guys to several ppl. The pics don’t do it justice, a couple people even came up to ask where we’d gotten them from. 10/10 definitely recommend!

We ordered an arrangement for our daughter and son in law for the birth of their baby. The arrangement was delivered within a few hours from ordering and was absolutely gorgeous! The price was reasonable and phone ordering was easy and pleasant. It literally looked like something on a magazine cover. Thank you for doing such a fantastic job! Cindy Cole

I received $65.00 of succulent garbage as a birthday gift from my mom thanks to Villere's Florist. As you can see in the below photos, the reality is a far, FAR cry from the expectation. As a side note, the succulents arrived with a card (also attached) detailing plant care instructions to "...drain excess water in saucer at base of pot to prevent root rot..." However, the planter has no holes (see photo) in the bottom and the plants are not in any removable insert. With all the rocks, tipping it to drain the water is impractical. Villere's used to be good, but as many other things, seems to have declined due to the pandemic.

Villere's Florist does the most amazing work. I used them for my son's rehearsal dinner in 2021 and their flowers were absolutely gorgeous. It was a no-brainer to use them again for another function in November. I have to name names here. Raymond helped me back in 2021 and he helped me again recently. He not only knows his flowers but he is also very personable and efficient. I have no need or desire to use any other florist other than Villere's!
